Stylish Stays: Top 10 Most Fashionable Hotels

 Maison Moschino, Milan, hotel

Situated in a 1840’s neoclassical railway station in Milan lies Maison Moschino.

Inspired by a contemporary fairy tale theme, each room is it’s own magical world featuring surrealist elements and wild dreamy visions.

With too many wonderfully imaginative rooms to choose from I think it’s only fair to spend a night in each one!

Second on my top 10 list of stylish stays we head over to Hotel Belle Juliette tucked away within the fashion capital of the world. This four star boutique hotel is filled with soft feminine touches, lavish décor and bath’s to die for!

So who’s the one behind the Interior décor? Well it’s all down to the talented fabric designer Anne Gelbard, who filled each room with bespoke pieces, restored antiques and contemporary furnishings.

Since the hotel was in ode to French celebrity Juliette Recamier, every room illustrates a time in her life, greatly influenced by her lovers and friends.

The founder of Columbia Pictures once said; “If you must get in trouble, do it at the Chateau Marmont.” You can be yourself or, better yet, be whomever you want to be; don’t be surprised if your visit brings out your inner Howard Hughes, your Greta Garbo, your Jim Morrison.”

If walls could talk then the infamous Chateau Marmont would certainly have some tales to tell.

Set in the land of make believe lies a castle perched on top of the West Hollywood Hills. This European style Chateau is a hideaway for A-lister’s, where they come to play & stay. You will also find LA socialites lounging by the pool sipping Martini’s or gorging themselves on salads hoping to rub shoulders with those in the spotlight.

With a long list of famous clientèle it’s no secret why the rich & famous flock to Chateau Marmont, as it’s the epitome of luxury and old Hollywood glamour.

The Chateau features a range of stylish Suites, Cottages, Bungalows and Penthouses, ideal for those looking  looking to spend a night like (or with) a movie star.

I had the pleasure of staying at The Standard in Downtown LA back in 2011, to indulge in a week of rooftop pool party’s, room service and day time drinking.

Without a doubt The Standard Hotel is the epitome of cool, from it’s uber trendy contemporary furnishings to it’s hipsters clientèle, there is simply nothing not to like about this hotel.

Room’s are generously over-sized, varying from medium & humongous to bigger penthouse- not to mention the view from the rooftop simply can’t be beaten!
